December in Switzerland is a month full with many events and festive activities. Here is my selection of things to do this December in and around Lausanne: 

🎡 Enjoy Bô Noël’s Christmas markets in Lausanne and around in Geneva, Montruex, Bern

🎶 Visit an organ concert in the Lausanne Cathedral, 1-10/12

🫕  Its Fondue season and Pintes Ouvertes is here this weekend

🥂 Celebrate the first world Chasselas day on 12 December. Check this page for info: https://www.mondialduchasselas.com

🎅 Take part or support the Lausanne Christmas Run on 16/12 evening or 17/12 during g the day

What to do in Lausanne in November? | My Lausanne

 🇬🇧 What to do in Lausanne in November? 👇

🍂 Last chance to try the typical autumn dishes- Brisolee (roasted chestnuts served with dried meat and cheese, Valais rye bread and fresh apples) and La Chasse (French for the hunt). I tried La Chasse menu of @jacques_restaurant_lausanne and it was fantastic!

🥂 Let’s hope for sunny days when we can go to enjoy the beauty of autumn colors in the vineyards. For inspiration, check out our new Vins Vaudois Guide 

🎭 Visit Montreux Comedy Festival, 8-18/11

🎬 For the movie fans there are two film festivals: the Lausanne Ciné-Festival, 1-5/11 and the Geneva International Film Festival, 3-12/11

🎨 This is the perfect time to visit the Lausanne museum and don’t forget that the first Sunday of the month many of them are free

My bucket list how to enjoy Lausanne in the beginning of autumn: 

🍂 Try the typical autumn dishes- Brisolee (roasted chestnuts served with dried meat and cheese, Valais rye bread and fresh apples) and La Chasse (French for the hunt)

🥂 Wander in Lavaux and marvel at the beauty of autumn colours. For inspiration - look this picture and check out our Lavaux Guide on Instagram

⛰️ Enjoy the autumn sun and colors in the mountains. Go for a hike or treat yourself in a cozy mountain hotel before the crowded winter season

🎪 Visit the Knie Circus until 15/10. I visited the show last month in Nyon and loved it!

🏃‍♂️ Take part in the Lausanne Marathon on 22/10. Everyone can choose the length of their run and their challenge (I will watch and support;)

Споделям няколко идеи какво може да се прави в края на лятото в Лозана:

🍂 Опитайте типичните есенни ястия - Brisolee (печени кестени, сервирани със сушено месо и сирене, ръжен хляб от Вале и пресни ябълки) и La Chasse (дивеч на френски)

🏃‍♂️ Участвайте в маратона на Лозана на 22/10. Всеки може да избере колко дълго да бяга (аз ще гледам и подкрепям;)
